Kerolex Academic Press (KAP) follows a rigorous, fair, and transparent peer review process across all its journals to ensure the publication of high-quality and reliable research.

Type of Peer Review

All journals under KAP follow a double-blind peer review system, where:

  • The identity of authors is not disclosed to reviewers
  • The identity of reviewers is not disclosed to authors

This ensures an unbiased and objective evaluation process.

Review Process

  1. Initial Screening
    • The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for scope, originality, and basic quality
  2. Reviewer Assignment
    • Manuscripts are assigned to qualified subject experts
  3. Peer Review
    • Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:
      • Scientific quality
      • Originality
      • Relevance to journal scope
      • Clarity and presentation
  4. Reviewer Feedback
    • Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations
  5. Editorial Decision
    • Based on reviewer comments, the editor makes one of the following decisions:
      • Accept
      • Minor Revision
      • Major Revision
      • Reject

Review Timeline

  • Initial editorial decision: within 1–2 weeks
  • Final decision after review: within 2–4 weeks

Confidentiality

  • All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents
  • Reviewers must not share or use unpublished information

Conflict of Interest

  • Reviewers and editors must disclose any conflicts of interest
  • Manuscripts will be reassigned if a conflict is identified

Ethical Standards for Review

  • Reviews must be objective, constructive, and respectful
  • Personal criticism of authors is not acceptable

Final Decision

  • The final decision on manuscript acceptance rests with the editorial board
  • Decisions are based on quality, originality, and relevance
